Event Consultant:

As an Event Consultant at Bright, you’ll be the primary point of contact for clients renting event products and services. You’ll guide clients through the rental process, offer expert recommendations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure every event runs smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with a background in customer service, sales, or event coordination who thrives in a collaborative and fast\-paced environment.

About You:

  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using business email system, such as Microsoft Outlook.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, with excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and multitask simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast\-paced environment.
  • Build and foster relationships through open and flowing dialogue with peers.
  • Independently motivated, while being a team player willing to “jump in and roll up his/her sleeves” to help others.
  • Administrative and call center experience (desirable).
  • Event planning related experience (desirable).
  • Job Description:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Bright Event Rentals by answering and processing order requests, explain rental inventory processes and procedures, and assist with general event needs.
  • Become an expert in our rental inventory and phone software systems to confidently answer client questions and demonstrate a persuasive, solution\-focused communication style.
  • Evaluate client needs, offer rental design recommendations, and develop rental contracts through various high\-volume channels which include email correspondence, phone calls, virtual and in\-person appointments.
  • Accurately perform data entry of client information, rental items, and event logistics into the rental management system to ensure timely and error\-free execution.
  • Coordinate final details including payment processing, site details including portage and diagrams, third party subrentals, and assist with scheduling delivery and pick\-ups.
  • Develop strong relationships with Bright Event Rentals clients and strategic accounts to develop profitable business.
  • Identify challenges with events and collaborate with other Event Consultants, Event Directors and Business Development Managers, leadership, operations team, and clients to solve challenges and develop solutions.
  • Promote warehouse and showroom tours and visits by hosting clients and partners for design appointments and business development efforts.
  • Periodically attend professional industry and community events.
  • Understand customer budgets to maximize revenue and profitably while meeting the customer’s rental needs.
  • Interact with customers to obtain feedback on product quality, service, and strive to constantly improve event execution.
  • Oversee general office operations including accepting deliveries, ensuring showroom cleanliness, scheduling appointments and assisting with walk\-in consultations.
  • Collaborate with several teams, including sales, inventory, and operations teams, to provide all the necessary information for the successful execution of the events.
  • Compensation:

    Starting at $25 per hour

    Physical Demands and Abilities:

  • Communicate effectively with a diverse team of personalities and communication styles.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.
  • Occasional travel to locations with extended showrooms (if applicable)
  • Ability to sit for several hours a day.
