Duties
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, schedule doctor appointments.
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, escorting to exam rooms.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist veterinary nurses with patient intake such as medical reason for visit.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area and waiting room.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of supplies.
- Previous experience as a VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST OF 1 YR is required. We will consider LVT or medical assistants who have worked directly with doctors for 1 yrs. We will NOT consider individuals who have grooming, kennel work only experience.
- Work the hours of Mon, Tues, Th, Fri 8:30\-5:30 and every other Saturday 9\-12\. (closed every Wed). These hours are not negotiable\-they are the hours the business is open and workers needed there. Please do not apply if you cannot work these hours.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills for managing scheduling software and record keeping.
- Smiling personality that is joyful to work with as well as mature enough to fully run the front desk on your own.
