Description:
The Temp to Hire \- Operations Assistant supports the daily functioning of Wallis Annenberg GenSpace by managing attendance systems, coordinating member check\-ins for fitness and enrichment classes, and performing accurate, timely data entry. This role helps ensure smooth operations and clear communication between instructors, Guest Services, and the Programs team.
Essential Responsibilities
* Oversee member check\-ins and attendance operations for fitness and enrichment classes, ensuring all attendance data is entered accurately and promptly throughout the day.
* Collect and organize instructor sign\-in sheets, tracking instructor start and end times to ensure timely program delivery. In addition to being responsible for data input for: tracking data for programs and any administrative duties that requires data trends.
* Provide daily communication updates to the Programs team regarding attendance or scheduling concerns.
* Assist with instructor coordination as needed, including confirming class schedules and updating information in program calendars.
* Support light administrative and operational tasks, such as maintaining attendance logs, restocking class materials, and assisting with small event setups.
* Uphold GenSpace’s culture of professionalism and hospitality, supporting a welcoming and well\-organized environment for members and instructors.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working with older adults or in a fast\-paced, public\-facing environment a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and data\-entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Professional, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently.

* 2–3 years of administrative or program support experience in a community\-based, nonprofit, or educational environment preferred.
* Bilingual in Spanish or Korean a strong plus.
Schedule Monday through Thursday, generally 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. with a 30\-minute unpaid break
