Job Summary

The Service Technician will work with the Service Manager in the Service Department to complete the necessary clerical work for planning, preparing for, and performing all service\-related activities. They will perform general office tasks like organizing quotes and purchase orders, preparing parts lists, and maintaining tools. The Service Technician will need to be able to multi\-task and determine priorities to complete tasks as accurately and efficiently as possible. They will use written and verbal communication skills to ensure that other service department staff members are able to follow service details appropriately and according to schedule.

Duties

  • Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels
  • · Service, maintain, and repair robots’ systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition

  • Inspect robotic systems to diagnose malfunctions and operational issues
  • Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components
  • Test performance of robotic assemblies, using instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges
  • Repair, rework, or replace damaged parts or assemblies in robots
  • Program complex robotic systems and their PLCs
  • Provide technical support for robotic systems, including remote and on\-site troubleshooting
  • Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, end\-of\-arm tools, or conveyors
  • Assist in training customers and/or their employees on how to use and maintain robots
  • Experience

  • Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Strong computer skills
  • Structured, detail\-oriented, and independent working style
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Proven teamwork and problem\-solving abilities
  • Able to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish
  • Ability to obtain a passport
  • Ability to travel to foreign countries, including Mexico
  • Mechanical skills and experience are an advantage, but not required
  • Pay: From $20\.00 per hour
