Job Description
Join the team and make a meaningful impact on patient care at its affiliated clinics. As a Clinic Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming, organized, and efficient clinic experience. Your role is essential in supporting both patients and clinical staff to ensure high\-quality outpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications: To qualify, you must meet all the following requirements. Please note that unless specifically indicated, the required education and experiences may not be gained concurrently. In addition, qualifying work experience is credited based on a 40\-hour workweek.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
* General Experience: Two (2\) years of responsible clerical or administrative experience demonstrating knowledge of office procedures, customer service, and basic computer skills
* Specialized Experience (II level): Six (6\) months of work experience performing clerical duties including patient registration, scheduling, data entry and medical records handling in a healthcare or clinic setting
* Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to excellent customer service
* Typing: Preferred ability to type at a net speed of 40 words per minute with accuracy
Substitution of Education for General Experience: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s from an accredited college or university may substitute for all the General Experience required.

Pre\-Employment Health Requirements
Offers of employment will be contingent on successfully passing a pre\-employment examination, which includes a drug screen and other regulatory medical requirements such as, but not limited to, a tuberculosis (TB) screen. The cost for drug screening and blood draw for QuantiFERON and Titers, shall be borne by the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.
