Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented Part\-Time Accounting Assistant to support our CPA firm with daily accounting, payroll, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping or accounting experience who enjoys working in a professional office environment and can manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting \& Bookkeeping
- Assist with bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance for multiple clients
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting
- Maintain employee payroll records and related documentation
- Support year\-end payroll activities, including W\-2 and 1099 preparation
- Organize and maintain client files and accounting documents
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding requested information
- Assist with scheduling, data entry, and office support tasks
- Support tax season administrative activities as needed
