We are seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented Loan Processor Assistant to support our mortgage operations team. This is an entry\-level position with training provided.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, a fast learner, and interested in building a long\-term career in the mortgage or real estate industry. There is opportunity for growth within the role based on performance and ability.
Schedule:
- Part\-time: 30 hours per week (during training)
- Opportunity to move to full\-time (40 hours/week) after training
- $15/hour starting
- Training period: 60 days (based on performance)
- $15 bonus per closed loan during training
- Full\-time (40 hours/week)
- Increased bonus per closed loan ($25–$30 based on performance and volume)
- Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.)
- Assist in preparing complete loan files for processing and underwriting
- Upload and manage loan files in the LOS (Loan Origination System)
- Request and follow up on missing conditions and documentation from borrowers
- Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, agents, and third parties throughout the loan process
- Assist with ordering and tracking third\-party items (VOEs, title, insurance, etc.)
- Send documents for electronic signature
- Assist with verification of employment and other required validations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple files at once
- Ability to follow processes, checklists, and deadlines consistently
- Clear and professional communication skills (phone, text, and email)
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment
- Basic computer proficiency (email, Google Drive, document uploads, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Someone dependable who shows up and follows through
- Coachable and open to learning new systems

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0–2 years of experience in administrative, customer service, mortgage, or real estate\-related roles preferred
- Comfortable working with documents, numbers, and sensitive financial information
- Basic understanding of office workflows and professional communication
- Ability to use computers efficiently (email, file management, data entry)
