New Concepts for Living is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and hands\-on Administrative Assistant to support the Administrative Office Manager and leadership team. This role is essential to keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, tech\-savvy, and takes initiative—someone who can anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities, and step in wherever support is needed. This position requires strong administrative and communication skills, along with a willingness to be actively involved in supporting office operations and events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
Administrative \& Office Support
- Provide day\-to\-day administrative support including document preparation, data entry, scanning, filing, expense tracking, reporting, coordinating calendars, meetings, and correspondence
- Maintain and update internal systems such as mailing lists, trackers, and shared documents
- Prepare meeting materials, take detailed notes, and produce clear, well\-written meeting minutes
- Coordinate and set up meetings and small events (room setup, catering, logistics, materials, and communications, etc.)
- Assist in planning and executing company events, including setup, breakdown, and on\-site support
- Maintain and track inventory of company apparel, ensure items are restocked as needed, and fulfill employee uniform orders with accuracy and timely distribution
- Provide support to leadership team with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Provide reception coverage as needed, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries
- Provide backup support for purchasing, supply ordering, and inventory management when primary staff are unavailable, following established protocols
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of office spaces, storage areas, and supply rooms, and help keep supplies, event materials, and internal resources well organized
- Ensure day\-to\-day office functions run efficiently and proactively address gaps or needs
- Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills

COMPETENCIES:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years of administrative or office support experience preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
