Position Summary
The Bookkeeping Assistant supports the day\-to\-day accounting and administrative functions of Integrity Bookkeeping \& Business Solutions LLC. This role assists with maintaining accurate financial records, supporting client accounts, and ensuring timely and confidential handling of financial and payroll information. The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with sensitive financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping \& Accounting Support
- Enter financial information into QuickBooks and other accounting systems as directed
- Assist with organizing and maintaining client financial documentation
- Support bank and credit card reconciliation preparation (data organization only)
- Help ensure transactions are properly categorized and documented per instructions
- Assist with maintaining clean, organized digital and physical files
- Assist with payroll\-related data entry and document organization under supervision
- Help maintain payroll and employee records
- Support preparation and organization of tax\-related documents (W\-2s, 1099s, etc.)
- Handle confidential payroll and personal information with discretion
- Assist with client onboarding and file setup
- Manage document organization and filing (digital and physical)
- Support internal office operations and administrative needs
- Communicate with team members regarding missing or incomplete documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established processes
- Ability to handle confidential financial and personal information
- Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills
- Prior experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
- Experience in bookkeeping support or professional office environments
