The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting qualified healthcare professionals for locum tenens, temporary, contract opportunities. The initial recruiting focus may include physicians, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other clinical professionals. This is a performance\-driven, commission\-based position suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, conducting consistent candidate outreach, and building long\-term professional relationships. Key Responsibilities Source qualified healthcare professionals through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media, databases, and direct outreach. Contact prospective candidates through phone calls, emails, text messages, and professional networking platforms. Conduct initial phone or video screenings to evaluate candidates’ experience, licensing, certifications, availability, compensation expectations, and assignment preferences. Match qualified candidates with appropriate locum tenens, contract, temporary, and permanent opportunities. Build and maintain an active pipeline of physicians, CRNAs, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Clearly communicate assignment details, including schedule, location, clinical responsibilities, compensation, call requirements, and credentialing expectations. Collect candidate documents, including résumés, licenses, certifications, references, work history, and availability. Coordinate candidate interviews and introductions with healthcare facilities and internal team members. Maintain accurate and timely candidate information in the company’s applicant tracking system or recruitment database. Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, placement, and post\-placement processes. Request referrals and generate new candidate leads through existing relationships. Work closely with credentialing, scheduling, and operations teams to support timely candidate placement. Meet agreed\-upon outreach, screening, submission, and placement goals. Represent the company professionally and maintain the confidentiality of candidate and client information. Required Qualifications Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, healthcare, or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting direct candidate outreach. Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals. Strong organizational, follow\-up, and time\-management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Ability to manage multiple candidates and opportunities simultaneously. Comfortable working in a performance\-based compensation structure. Proficiency with email, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, customer relationship management platforms, and online sourcing tools. Reliable internet connection, telephone access, and a professional remote workspace. Preferred Qualifications Previous healthcare recruiting, locum tenens, travel nursing, staffing, or clinical recruitment experience. Experience recruiting physicians, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, or nurses. Familiarity with healthcare licensing, credentialing, malpractice coverage, certifications, and compliance requirements. Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, healthcare job boards, applicant tracking systems, or recruitment databases. Existing network of healthcare professionals. Demonstrated history of achieving recruiting, sales, or placement goals. Work Schedule This is a flexible, part\-time remote position. The recruiter is expected to fulfill open contract positions and complete candidate outreach during hours when healthcare professionals are reasonably available. Some evening or occasional weekend communication may be necessary depending on candidate schedules and urgent staffing needs. The recruiter will be expected to attend scheduled virtual meetings and provide regular updates regarding recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and pending placements. Compensation This is a commission\-based position. Compensation may include: Commission for each healthcare professional successfully placed. Additional commission or bonuses based on assignment duration, revenue generated, or candidate retention. Performance incentives for meeting placement or recruiting goals. Potential recurring commission for qualifying ongoing assignments, depending on the agreed compensation plan. Commission eligibility, payment timing, placement requirements, candidate ownership, replacement provisions, cancellations, and other compensation terms will be detailed in a separate written commission agreement. All compensation arrangements will be administered in accordance with applicable employment, contractor, wage, and commission laws.
