The Membership Services staff will help to create a welcoming experience for members while promoting programs that encourage health and wellness within our community. This position is responsible for opening the building before official facility operating hours.Location: Laguna NiguelWork Schedule: Weekday and weekend opening and closing shifts available. Coverage needed for shifts as early as 5:00 AM through 8:00 PM. Applicants with early morning availability will be considered.Purpose and Impact:* Practice Intentionality:
+ Serve as the primary contact, creating a warm and professional environment for all members. Handle all inquiries, payments, and concerns with care.
* Drive Community Growth:
+ Actively engage with current and prospective members through facility tours and interviews to promote memberships and programs. Proactively generate new prospects through consistent follow\-up, tracking, and collaboration with program teams

+ Uphold Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility while handling check\-ins, cash management, and maintaining an organized lobby and workspace.
* Data Management \& Program Support:
+ Perform essential clerical tasks, manage data entry/retrieval, communicate program details, and assist with registrations. Be proactive with knowledge of all program information and changes.
Minimum Qualifications:* Education \& Experience:
+ H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
+ 1 \- 3 years' experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
+ Knowledge of customer service, excellent communication skills, and PC ability required.
* Certifications:
+ First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
