Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Credit Repair Agent to join our team and help clients improve their credit profiles. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing credit reports, negotiating with creditors, and developing personalized strategies to enhance clients’ credit scores. Responsibilities
- Review and analyze clients’ credit reports to identify negative items and areas for improvement
- Contact creditors and collection agencies via phone or telemarketing methods to dispute inaccuracies or negotiate debt settlements
- Educate clients on credit scoring factors, financial concepts, and best practices for maintaining good credit health
- Develop customized action plans that include debt repayment strategies, account reconciliation, and account analysis
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, disputes, and progress using financial software and data entry tools
- Assist clients with understanding medical collections, ICD\-10 codes, CPT coding, and other medical billing terminology as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions promptly while demonstrating professional phone etiquette
- Proven experience in negotiation, telemarketing, or customer service roles within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, accounts receivable/payable processes, and revenue cycle management
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures, ICD\-10 coding, CPT coding, and medical terminology is a plus
- Excellent analysis skills combined with proficiency in accounting software and financial software applications
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Familiarity with accounting concepts such as debits \& credits, account reconciliation, and account analysis
- Strong math skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and apply relevant concepts effectively
