About the Role
River Sound HOA is looking for a detail\-oriented, people\-savvy Office Manager to support the volunteer Board of Directors and serve as the primary point of contact for the neighborhood of engaged residents. This is a flexible, part\-time contract role for someone who can handle light admin work, occasional policy enforcement, and neighbor communication, with a calm tone and a steady hand.
If you’re comfortable managing expectations, following up without micromanaging, and balancing the occasional strong personality with grace and humor, you’ll do just fine here. The workload is manageable, the hours are flexible, and the impact is real.

* Resident Communication: Respond to emails and phone calls from homeowners, provide guidance, and assist with general questions or concerns.
* Board \& Meeting Support: Attend monthly board meetings (Sunday evenings), take minutes, manage follow\-ups, and coordinate communication between board members and residents.
* Covenant Compliance:Respond to resident complaints, send friendly\-but\-firm violation notices as needed, and follow up with homeowners to ensure resolution.
* Vendor \& Contractor Coordination: Interface with landscaping, maintenance, and service vendors. Schedule work, request quotes, and monitor follow\-through on tasks.
* Website \& Records Maintenance: Update the River Sound website (hosted on HOA Express—very user\-friendly), manage event and announcement postings, and keep the neighborhood directory up to date.
* Accounting \& Billing Support: Forward deposits to the HOA accountant, manage accounts payable, and maintain clear communication with the board treasurer.
