Lead Financial Planner (CFP) — Arrowstone Wealth Remote (U.S.) · Fee\-only RIA · Full\-time, W\-2 About Arrowstone Arrowstone Wealth is a fee\-only RIA based in Washington State. We serve high\-net\-worth households all over the U.S.— typically $2M–$15M\+ in investable assets — who are planning early retirement (mid\-50s to early 60s) and need sophisticated tax\-aware income, conversion, and withdrawal strategy across a 30\- to 40\-year planning horizon. Our work is technically deep. Our clients are intelligent, accomplished, and skeptical — many have left other advisors who did not engage with their specifics. Concentrated stock positions, equity compensation, NUA decisions, Roth conversion ladders, ACA bridge planning, IRMAA management, 72(t) construction, and inherited IRA strategy are routine here. If you love planning work — the strategy, the modeling, the moment a client finally sees their path clearly — this role was built for you. This position requires no selling and no asset\-gathering quota. Clients will be assigned to you, which means your time goes entirely toward doing the best planning of your career for households whose situations genuinely deserve it. The Role As a Lead Financial Planner, you will interact directly with clients, lead planning meetings, and present recommendations. The principal (Cody Gunn, CFA) will continue to lead new client acquisition and firm strategy. What You Will Do · Lead annual and interim planning meetings with HNW client households (both spouses present) · Build and present multi\-year Roth conversion, withdrawal sequencing, and bracket\-management strategies · Drive proactive tax planning — IRMAA tiers, ACA cliffs, NIIT, AMT, NUA, QBI, equity comp taxation · Manage concentrated position strategies (10b5\-1 plans, exchange funds, direct indexing, QSBS, charitable solutions) · Coordinate with clients' CPAs and estate attorneys; know when to bring them in and how to communicate planning intent · Maintain meticulous CRM records, meeting agendas, and follow\-through commitments · Contribute technical input to YouTube scripts, blog posts, and client education What You Will Not Do · Sell. You are a planner, not a closer. · Bring a portable book of business. We are not hiring for AUM transfer. · Run portfolio management day\-to\-day. We use a tight model framework and you'll operate within it. Required Qualifications · CFP certification in good standing · Series 65 or equivalent · Minimum 3 years of comprehensive planning experience in a fee\-only RIA environment (wirehouse\-only backgrounds will not advance) · Demonstrated experience advising and building plans for HNW clients — not paper exposure, real client work in the $2M\+ range · Eligible to register as an Investment Adviser Representative in Washington · Strong working command of: multi\-year Roth conversion modeling, 72(t) SEPP construction, ACA subsidy/MAGI planning, IRMAA management, Social Security claiming strategy, inherited IRA SECURE Act rules, equity compensation taxation, and concentrated position management · Proficiency in RightCapital (or willingness to demonstrate equivalent depth in eMoney/MoneyGuide Pro and ramp quickly) · Excel skill —modeling, structured analysis, not just data entry · Direct experience presenting financial plans to clients, not supporting an advisor who presents · Excellent written communication — you will draft client deliverables, follow\-ups, and meeting briefs · Track record of successful self\-directed remote work Preferred Qualifications · CPA or EA designation · Tax preparation experience, current or prior · Experience with Schwab Advisor Services and Altruist · Experience at a $250M–$1B AUM RIA (process maturity matches our environment) · Familiarity with Advyzon · Comfort with occasional on\-camera collaboration for YouTube content Compensation and Benefits Full\-time, exclusive position. $85,000\-$100,000 base salary plus bonus determined by performance and client retention metrics. Flexible work hours, vacation, and paid time off. Fully remote with periodic in\-person team time. How to Apply We use a multi\-step process to filter out mass applications.
