DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be providing essential administrative and technical support for the Division of School Facilities and the Supporting America’s Schools Infrastructure (SASI) Grant Program. Work involves ensuring program data, reports, and communications are accurate and timely. As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties:
* Technical Support: Assist LEAs with entering and accessing required information in state databases and shared systems
* Data Management: Input, track, and maintain program data while recommending improvements to existing systems
* Grant Assistance: Support SASI grant activities by compiling information and helping prepare materials for participating districts
* Report Preparation: Review and format performance reports and logic models required for grant oversight
* Meeting Coordination: Arrange internal and external meetings with agencies, divisions, and professional groups
* Research Activities: Collect and analyze data to support administrative reviews and prepare summaries for leadership

* Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part\-time, up to 4 days per week. You will be required to report in\-office on Wednesday each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high\-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. * Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $45,907\.00 (before taxes).
