A top private primary school in Downtown Jersey City is looking for reliable and dependable experienced Administrative Assistant/ Floater for its team. Please note this is a full time job position and pay is determined based on relevant experience and education:
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Manage office correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Manage inventory and order of all school supplies
- Assist with marketing initiatives; Support a safe, healthy, structured and nurturing environment
- Create and develop strong parent and staff relationships that result in retention and referrals
- Communicate with parents, team members, vendors in a friendly, professional manner
- Assist with oversight of the cleanliness, organization and maintenance of the school
- Help to ensure proper ratios are maintained at all times and substitute in classrooms as needed
- Maintain confidentiality in dealing with all company information including: policies, procedures, student, parent and staff records and conversations
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
- Associates or Bachelors Degree
- Experience in an early childhood/ primary school environment required
- Proficient in English language, computers and communication
- Positive team player with strong communication skills. customer service and excellent organizational skills
