We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team! Duties

  • Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and assist with patient intake processes using EMR TEBRA.
  • Schedule appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software and coordinate with providers to optimize clinic flow.
  • Perform insurance verification, process medical billing and collections, and handle Medicare claims in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage front desk responsibilities including answering multi\-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, managing patient inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming office environment.
  • Support medical administrative functions such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing medical records.
  • Assist with standards, and ensure compliance with health information management protocols.
  • Qualifications

  • Medical office setting or healthcare environment with clinic experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Medicare processes to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office setting.
  • Exceptional patient service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and clear communication abilities.
  • Prior office management or clerical experience combined with medical billing and insurance verification knowledge will set candidates apart.
