Position Summary
The Office Assistant will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves general office tasks, data management, and coordination with CFR food donors and volunteers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail\-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Weekly hours will vary to support the needs of the organization. This is a hybrid position and the selected candidate will be able to work in the downtown CFR office, as well as be able to work offsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails maintaining records and databases.
- Handle filing and data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with food donors to schedule and confirm donations.
- Assist with volunteer communications and scheduling. We use Signup Genius to recruit volunteers.
- Administrative support for the CFR Board of Directors. Attend CFR Board meetings when requested.
- Limited off\-site tasks including mail pick\-up, deliveries, meetings, as necessary.
- Fill in for the CFR Site Coordinator as needed, ensuring operations run smoothly. Coordinate and partner with CFR Site Coordinator, who is primarily responsible for the smooth operations of the organization.
- Support other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Strong organizational and time\-management skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Drive).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Pay: $17\.00 per hour
