- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid drivers license.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As the Clerical Assistant 2 at Tiadaghton State Forest, you will serve as the initial point of contact for visitors, providing basic information and assistance. Your responsibilities will include responding to phone calls and written inquiries, monitoring the two\-way radio system, and relaying messages as needed. When required, you will help dispatch fire suppression and search\-and\-rescue personnel by phone or radio.
You will maintain files, complete routine arithmetic tasks such as reconciling the Park Reservation System cash drawer, and operate standard office equipment. The role also includes issuing permits to the public and handling reservations for conference rooms, the Jersey Mills House, and the Pump Station cabin.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

* Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).
