As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and detail\-oriented Office Administrator to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of service.
Job Summary:
The Office Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our agency. This position is responsible for billing Medicare, Medicaid and insurance, managing administrative tasks, supporting caregivers and clients, and maintaining efficient office operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem\-solver with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the mission of providing exceptional home care.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Must have experience in Alora Home Health Software, Wellsky, and/ or AxisCare Software
\-Oversee daily office operations, including answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies.
\- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, caregivers, and external partners, providing exceptional customer service.
\- Maintain accurate client and caregiver records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
\- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and billing Medicare, Medicaid and insurance company processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
\- Coordinate onboarding and training for new caregivers, including verifying credentials and documentation.
\- Support the management team with reporting, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed.
\- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
\- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
\- Proven experience in office administration in healthcare or home care agency .
\- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with scheduling or billing software.
\- Knowledge of home care regulations and compliance is a plus.
