The Medical Records Clerk assembles and managing patients' health information and charts. You will perform basic administrative, operational, customer support, and data\-entry tasks, working on routine, structured assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator.Job Functions:
- Ensure all medical forms are identified, completed, and signed
- Enter required patient information into the electronic records system
- Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information
- Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures
- Operate within defined work expectations, quality standards, and priorities, under close supervision and established guidelines
- 2\+ years of Medical Records experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Quick to learn new systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to travel locally, with occasional overnight stays
- Committed to enhancing consumer experiences within a continuous improvement environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Previous healthcare or health insurance experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology and/or ICD\-9 codes

Additional Information:
The company considers this role patient\-facing and runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$38,000 \- $45,800 per year
