    *We are currently seeking a Process of Service Clerk to join our Process of Service team.*

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in the civil litigation process by coordinating the delivery of legal documents
  • Enter status updates and service of process confirmation into the Firm’s case management software
  • Follow up with internal staff and external vendors to ensure completion of process
  • Process daily data imports from external vendors
  • Review and audit invoices related to service of process
  • Ensure policies and procedures are consistently executed consistent with Firm and Client standards
  • Respond to all client and audit requests related to service of process
  • Confer with Firm Managers and Executive staff on carrying out Firm objectives, overcoming challenges, completing projects and cultivating the Firm’s reputation
  • Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high\-volume fast paced environment
  • Minimum one year of relevant work experience in the legal field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Knowledge of legal terminology preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point; ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet research
  • Ability to multi\-task and manage time effectively
  • Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
  • Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

8am to 5pm

Full Time Position

No hybrid or remote flexibility
