Job Overview

Banvego Healthcare Solutions LLC is seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive HR \& Payroll Assistant with experience in home health, companion, or homemaker services, and an interest in public health and community\-based care.

This is a hybrid position (not fully remote) combining administrative responsibilities with required in\-person support for onboarding, interviews, and community outreach activities.

The ideal candidate will support caregiver operations, payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and public health initiatives, while contributing to Banvego’s mission of improving community health, infection prevention, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

HR \& Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of caregivers and staff
  • Ensure compliance with AHCA requirements and Florida Clearinghouse background screening
  • Maintain employee records, credentials, and documentation
  • Track licenses, certifications, and expirations
  • Payroll

  • Process weekly/biweekly payroll for caregivers and staff
  • Review and verify timesheets (e.g., HHA Exchange or manual logs)
  • Ensure accuracy of hours worked, overtime, and pay rates
  • Address payroll discrepancies and staff inquiriesI
  • Operations, Outreach \& Public Health Support

  • Assist with staff scheduling and communication
  • Support HR compliance, training records, and documentation
  • Participate in community outreach, referral development, and client engagement activities
  • Support public health education initiatives (e.g., fall prevention, infection prevention awareness)
  • Assist with in\-person events, workshops, and community\-based programs
  • Qualifications

  • Experience in home health, home care, or companion/homemaker services preferred
  • Experience with HR support and payroll processing
  • Background or strong interest in public health, community health, or healthcare services
  • Familiarity with AHCA and Florida Clearinghouse (preferred)
  • Understanding of CMS and Joint Commission standards (a plus)
  • Knowledge of OSHA and healthcare compliance requirements
  • Understanding of infection prevention and control practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environmentk
  • Education Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • RN or LPN (active Florida license) may be considered (non\-clinical role)
  • Additional training in healthcare compliance, payroll, or infection prevention (a plus)
  • Preferred Skills \& Competencies

  • Strong social media and digital communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of AHCA, CMS, and Joint Commission regulatory standards
  • Familiarity with OSHA and healthcare compliance requirements
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to learn systems quickly (e.g., HHA Exchange)
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Responsible, reliable, and professional
  • Comfortable engaging in community outreach and public health activities
  • Work Schedule

  • Hybrid role (not fully remote)
  • Combination of remote administrative work and required in\-person responsibilities
  • In\-person duties include onboarding, interviews, outreach, and community events
  • Must be located in or near Central Florida (Seminole/Orange County)
  • Minimum 20–25 hours per week
  • Compensation

  • $18 – $25 per hour, based on experience
