Termechi Employment Law is seeking a motivated Employment Law Associate to join our Encino office.

We exclusively represent employees in wrongful termination matters, with a focus on disability discrimination, whistleblower claims, retaliation, and sexual harassment. Our practice is litigation\-driven, hands\-on, and results\-oriented.

  • Competitive compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 (for 3\+ years experience)
  • Commission on cases: Historical averages of $12,500 – $17,500 annually
  • 20% referral fees on cases originated by Associates
  • Non\-discretionary anniversary bonuses: $5,000 – $10,000
  • Annual holiday bonuses: $1,000\+

  • Role \& Responsibilities

    Associates are involved in all aspects of litigation from day one, including:

  • Client intake and case evaluation
  • Drafting complaints and demand letters
  • Handling day\-to\-day litigation
  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Attending court hearings
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Engaging in settlement negotiations
  • Preparing mediation briefs
  • Trial preparation
  • Each Associate typically manages a caseload of 35–45 matters, supported by a strong team, including Law clerks, Paralegal, Legal assistant, and Administrative staff. Associates also receive direct, one\-on\-one mentorship from the Managing Attorney.

    Qualifications

  • Active member of the California Bar (required)
  • Employment law experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong writing, advocacy, and case management skills
  • Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
  • Job Type: Full\-time

    Pay: $120,000\.00 \- $200,000\.00 per year
