WORKING TITLE: CORRECTIONAL SERVICES CONSULTANT
This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at the Region 1 Office of Community Corrections.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
* Administrative Oversight and Support: Provide independent administrative oversight to enhance accountability and standardize operational processes, assisting the Regional Director and Assistant Regional Director with operational issues requiring additional resources.
* Reentry and Case Management Coordination: Respond to communications related to reentry and community corrections case management, coordinate reentry efforts, and conduct case management reviews and special audits as directed.
* Caseload and Program Monitoring: Coordinate and monitor caseload management, supervision, and program reports for compliance, assist circuits with reentry efforts, and recommend updates to procedures, policies, and administrative rules.
* ACA Compliance and Training: Serve as the Regional ACA Coordinator, collecting documentation, conducting preparatory reviews and audits, providing ACA accreditation training, and ensuring accurate document entries for ACA audits.
* Operational Reporting and Emergency Support: Review and provide routine operational reports, conduct research and data analysis, prepare quality assurance reports, and support the region office during emergencies as an essential staff member.

Beginning July 1, 2024, there is no longer a reemployment limitation; beginning with the 7th calendar month from the member's distribution date, there are no restrictions on working for an FRS employer. BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
