Duties
- Assist attorneys in gathering, organizing, and reviewing case documents related to personal injury claims, including medical records, accident reports, and insurance correspondence
- Be able to handle MVA matters and Slip and Fall cases
- Conduct comprehensive legal research across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, workers' compensation law, and more to support case development
- Manage legal case files using document management systems like Filevine and LegalX, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and up\-to\-date
- Interview clients and witnesses to collect pertinent information while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Draft legal documents including letters
- Open No\-Fault Claims and Bodily Injury Claims
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining organized case workflows
- Paralegal experience or relevant legal administrative experience in a law office setting
- Strong research skills with familiarity in Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools
- Familarity with Deed searches
- Knowledge of multiple practice areas including personal injury law
- Proficiency with legal case management software such as Filevone and LegalX\-experience with document review and data entry is preferred
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents and proofread meticulously
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines
- Effective interviewing techniques combined with professional phone etiquette and clerical skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
