Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence. This role is vital in ensuring the household runs smoothly, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. The Household Manager will coordinate a wide range of responsibilities, including managing staff, overseeing household maintenance, planning events, and providing personalized support to the household members. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and passionate about creating a welcoming and well\-maintained environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate household staff, including housekeepers, cooks, childcare providers, and maintenance personnel, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards.
- Oversee household operations such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and general housekeeping management to maintain a pristine and organized environment.
- Plan and execute special events, gatherings, and family celebrations with attention to detail and seamless execution.
- Manage household supplies inventory, vendor relationships, repairs, and maintenance schedules to ensure everything functions optimally.
- Provide childcare support as needed, including supervising children’s activities and coordinating their schedules.
- Act as a personal assistant by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Ensure the household adheres to safety protocols and maintains a secure environment at all times.
- Proven experience in household management or hospitality roles such as hotel or property management.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in event planning, childcare, residential cleaning, laundry, cooking, and housekeeping management.
- Previous supervisory experience overseeing staff or teams within a residential or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and property maintenance best practices.
- Administrative experience including scheduling, vendor coordination, and inventory management.
