Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk \& Grooming Assistant to join our team. This role is a combination of client\-facing responsibilities and behind\-the\-scenes support for our grooming staff. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, managing appointments, answering phone calls, and providing excellent customer service. In addition, you will assist the groomers by preparing grooming areas, cleaning up after appointments, and helping with general salon upkeep.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage client inquiries
  • Assist groomers with setup, cleaning, and organizing grooming areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception, grooming, and common areas
  • Provide basic pet care as needed, under guidance of groomers
  • Handle point\-of\-sale transactions and retail sales
  • Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service or reception preferred
  • Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and breeds

  • Handle scheduling and calendar management for staff and appointments.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records to support office organization and compliance.
  • Support office management by coordinating supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and overseeing general administrative functions
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously in person or over the phone
  • Keep the salon tidy and clean throughout the day.
  • Clean up after the groomers and assistant when needed.
  • Requirements

  • Experience with front desk duties, multi\-line phone systems, data entry, filing, and clerical tasks.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle diverse interactions professionally.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or personal assistant is a plus but not required.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
  • Good cleaning skills
