At Comfort Keepers, we provide uplifting in\-home care for seniors and other adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day\-to\-day assistance in their homes. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to deliver one\-on\-one care that enhances quality of life and brings hope and joy to clients and their families.

We are seeking an on\-call caregiver for weekends.

* You will work with different clients each week, to cover call offs in the range of 7am\-9pm. You will not be called in for overnight shifts.

* Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays \& Wednesdays are available. Choose any or all of these days! $225 per day \- Weekdays. $250 per day \- Weekends.

* You will need to be willing \& able to drive to any of our client locations in all of Oakland County, Livingston County, Northville, and Livonia

* You will be expected to be awake and ready to report to work at 6:30am and keep your phone handy at all times so we can reach you when we need you.

* Guaranteed pay, whether you are called in or not.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provides friendly companionship and assistance with daily activities including dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, laundry and light housekeeping
• Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services
• Provides transportation to doctor’s appointments, beauty shops, etc.
• Maintains open communication with office staff to facilitate optimal quality of care.

Caregiver Requirements:

• 2 Years In\-Home Caregiving or CNA experience
• Experience with
bedbound personal care, hospice care, dementia care
• Skilled in using
gait belt, hoyer lift, sit\-to\-stand lift for patient care.
• A passion for the job and genuine commitment to help others who are not able to help themselves
• A commitment to maintaining professionalism at all times
• Able to commit to assigned shifts and maintain reliability \& good attendance, knowing that clients are counting on us to show up as scheduled every day
• Willing to work with male \& female clients, smokers, and those who have cats or dogs.
• An understanding of the importance of the therapeutic relationship and willingness to maintain focus on the client's needs

* Willing \& able to drive to clients' homes anywhere within Oakland \& Livingston County areas to provide care

• DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

■ Reliable vehicle with car insurance in your name, registration

■ Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

■ Willing to transport clients in your vehicle

• Ability to pass background checks, drug testing, and work\-related references
• At least 18 years of age
