Duties
- Assist in managing leasing activities, including property tours, application processing, and lease signings, with a focus on property leasing and upselling amenities or services.
- Ability to perform heavy marketing functions using platforms such as Facebook, Physical Flyers and creating connections with local businesses and housing agencies
- Bilingual is preferred but not required
- Support the maintenance of resident records, lease files, and legal documentation using the OneSite property management software.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management tasks to ensure properties remain in excellent condition.
- Help enforce Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC ( compliance, and other legal administrative requirements.
- Handle tenant inquiries via phone and email with professional office etiquette while providing excellent customer service.
- Support rent collection efforts, including data entry of payments and follow\-up on delinquencies, ensuring adherence to landlord\-tenant law.
- Assist in conflict management between residents or staff by applying negotiation skills and conflict resolution techniques.
- Prepare reports, maintain filing systems, and update databases such as OneSite for accurate recordkeeping.
- Participate in lease renewals, upselling opportunities for additional services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to coordinate property maintenance and repairs efficiently.
- Proven experience in management support; familiarity with property leasing processes is preferred.
- Ability to Walk Units to check for Lease Violations, unauthorized occupants
- Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord\-tenant law is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; experience with Office applications for data entry and filing.
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities.
- Legal administrative experience related to contracts, lease agreements, or housing compliance is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks such as data entry, filing, and facilities coordination.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team\-oriented environment; strong negotiation skills are beneficial.
- Office experience involving customer relationship management (CRM), data entry systems, or administrative support roles.
