Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Healthcare Provider specializing in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive mental health and behavioral services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities, co\-occurring disorders, and complex behavioral needs. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using clinical documentation standards and ICD coding (ICD\-9, ICD\-10\) to establish individualized treatment plans. Provide direct support through individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence\-based practices such as cognitive\-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma\-focused therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and psychodynamic therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent behavioral or mental health incidents effectively, ensuring safety for clients and staff. Deliver specialized therapies including child \& youth therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling tailored to client needs. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams via case management, medical records documentation, and clinical research to optimize treatment outcomes. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical guidelines. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including patient care notes, treatment planning updates, and medical terminology entries. Skills Extensive experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive\-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and trauma\-focused approaches. Proficiency in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and social work principles tailored for individuals with disabilities. Strong background working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or co\-occurring disorders; familiarity with special education settings is a plus. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD\-9/ICD\-10\) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with medical terminology and medical records management required. Skilled in intake procedures, mental health assessments, treatment planning, data collection, and clinical research methodologies. Experience working within inpatient or outpatient settings; familiarity with hospital experience or clinic environments is advantageous. Ability to deliver culturally competent care while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations; experience in telehealth therapy is preferred. Competence in evidence\-based practice approaches for behavioral health issues such as PTSD care, chronic pain counseling, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and trauma\-focused therapies.
