MEORC is seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable Accounting Coordinator to support our business operations and partner agencies. In this role, you’ll manage accounts payable, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with funding requirements and supporting audits.
This position works closely with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and county board partners, contributing to financial accuracy and efficient operations across multiple organizations. You’ll also support reporting, data analysis, and Medicaid\-related administrative processes that impact services in Ohio communities.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2\) years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, general accounting principles, and internal controls.
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks online for business is preferred.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s license with vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
