Epic Resolute PB / HB – Senior Analyst

Role Overview

The Epic Resolute PB / HB Senior Analyst is responsible for leading the configuration, optimization, and support of Epic Revenue Cycle workflows (Professional Billing and Hospital Billing). This role focuses on improving billing accuracy, claims processing, revenue capture, and denial management by collaborating with revenue cycle, finance, and clinical operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, build, and configuration of
  • Epic Resolute PB / HB modules

  • Configure and support:
  • * Charge capture and charge router workflows

    * Claims processing, claim edits, and billing rules

    * Payment posting and remittance workflows

    * Denials management and workqueues

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex
  • production issues (L2/L3\) in billing workflows

  • Support
  • system upgrades, enhancements, and go\-live activities

  • Collaborate with:
  • Revenue Cycle teams (billing, AR, coding)
  • Clinical and operations stakeholders
  • Clearinghouse / integration teams
  • Ensure configurations align with:
  • * Revenue cycle best practices

  • Compliance and regulatory standards
  • Work on
  • build optimization, performance tuning, and workflow improvements

  • Mentor junior analysts and provide functional and technical guidance
  • Must\-Have Skills (Screening Mandatory)

    Epic Resolute Expertise

  • Strong hands\-on experience in:
  • * Resolute Professional Billing (PB) and/or Hospital Billing (HB)

  • Deep understanding of:
  • Claims lifecycle (charge → claim → payment → denial → AR follow\-up)
  • Workqueues, claim edits, and billing rules
  • Epic Certification

    * Epic Resolute PB or HB Certification (Mandatory)

    (PB/HB Admin or Claims Admin preferred)

    Revenue Cycle Knowledge

  • Strong functional knowledge of:
  • * Claims processing (837/835 basics)

  • Denials management and AR workflows
  • Insurance, coding, and reimbursement logic
  • Implementation \& Support Experience

  • Experience in:
  • * Build \+ Run (Implementation \+ Support)

  • Handling L2/L3 tickets
  • System enhancements and defect resolution
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Ability to work with:
  • Revenue cycle SMEs
  • Finance teams
  • Business stakeholders
  • Tools \& Functional Skills

  • Experience with:
  • Epic Hyperspace / Hyperdrive
  • Ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar)
  • Strong documentation, configuration, and troubleshooting skills
  • Good\-to\-Have Skills (Nice to Screen)

  • Experience in:
  • * Charge Router / Claim Edit build and optimization

  • Exposure to:
  • * Ambulatory, Cadence, or Prelude integrations

  • Knowledge of:
  • * Clearinghouse integrations, EDI (837/835\), payer workflows

  • Experience with:
  • Large\-scale
  • go\-lives, rollouts, or optimization programs

  • Understanding of:
  • Regulatory compliance (HIPAA, billing rules)
  • Certification in:
  • Additional Epic revenue modules (PB, HB, Claims, Charge Router)
  • Experience in:
  • Reporting tools (Workbench / Clarity – optional)
  • Offshore / global delivery model exposure
  • Experience Range

    * 6–10\+ years of Epic experience

  • Strong experience in
Revenue Cycle (PB/HB)

Pay: $85,000\.00 \- $100,000\.00 per year
