ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are a growing regional propane distribution company serving residential and commercial customers across Central Texas, generating approximately $10M\-$20M in annual revenue with strong EBITDA. The business is entering a critical phase of operational and financial transformation \- including an upcoming external audit, a new ERP system implementation, and future growth initiatives, including potential acquisitions.
The finance function is being rebuilt from the ground up under new CFO leadership. This is a rare opportunity to help design and own that foundation.
Location: On\-site, hybrid, and remote candidates are all considered. Candidates must be located (or willing to relocate) within the corridor between Brady, TX, Kerrville, TX, and Austin, TX.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a typical accounting manager's role. You will be the \#2 in the finance function\-the person who makes the engine run while the CFO focuses on ERP, strategy, and growth. You'll build processes where none exits, clean up what needs cleaning, and establish the financial infrastructure a scaling business requires.
If you've ever wanted to be the person who built the accounting function\-not just maintained it\-\-this is that role. You'll have real ownership, direct CFO exposure, and a clear path to Controller as the company grows.

- Document accounting policies and procedures where none currently exist
- Identify and implement process improvements across AP, AR, cash, and close
