Job Summary:
The Material Purchase and Inventory Manager is responsible for the end\-to\-end management of
Engineering , Project items, Job orders, packaging material procurement and inventory control of
these for monitoring at the pillow manufacturing plant. This role ensures consistent material
availability for Maintt, production, machines and manages inventory transactions in SAP/WMS,
and enables efficient supply planning and production execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject
to change in order to meet company needs and business requirements. Duties include:
Procurement and Vendor Management:
- Develop, maintain, and execute Engg and Project material procurement plans based on
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, best pricing, and
- Maintain approved supplier list and ensure supplier compliance with company standards
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs), track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
- Oversee receiving of materials into SAP and WMS systems, ensuring timely and accurate
- Ensure all inbound materials are quality checked, barcoded (if required), and stored in correct
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted production and prevent
- Monitor inventory movement and implement FIFO (First\-In\-First\-Out) practices.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with ERP/WMS data.
- Ensure warehouses for materials are well\-organized, labeled, and compliant with safety and

- Ensure timely and accurate allocation of materials for maintenance and for production.
- Track consumption and variance to support real\-time ost reporting.
- Monitor and report inventory levels and warehouse stock health.
- Track aging, batch management, and inventory rotation to reduce risk of slow or obsolete
- Monitor material and inventory holding costs; identify opportunities for savings and process
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of purchase transactions, inventory levels, and
- Collaborate with finance for material cost planning, monthly closings, and reporting.
- Coordinate daily with Maintenance, Project, Production, Quality, Planning, and Logistics teams for
- Participate in S\&OP and MRP review cycles to align inventory and purchasing with demand
- Lead material/inventory control meetings to identify risk areas and drive action plans.

Education and/or Experience:
Graduation / 2\-3 Yrs Exp/ Preference will be SAP experience Compliant
Language Skills:
Strong communicator with ability to express point of view with confidence. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, suppliers , and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have standard computer skills including use of e\-mail, use of word processing, presentation and spread sheet tools. Should be familiar with storage of files and data security.

Remote employees who are commuting to the corporate office in the same
geographical area (50 miles) as they reside in will not be reimbursed for commuting time, transportation
costs, or meals. Commutes and personal meals are reimbursable expenses only when traveling outside
of the employees’ residential or corporate metropolitan area (50 miles). However, these employees
should notice a considerable savings in items such as monthly commuting costs, office attire, meals, etc.
