*Real roofing operations. Real ownership. Real outcomes.*

Eligibility
Open to US\-based candidates (excluding WA, OR, CA, NY, NJ, PA). Active\-duty military spouses may use their domicile or current residence if in an eligible state. Must be legally authorized to work in the US as a 1099 contractor. No sponsorship.
About the Role
RoofAssist is a Roofing Operations Support company built specifically for roofing contractors — not a generalist VA shop running a roofing vertical. Our contractors deliver real trade work into real roofing businesses: CRM administration, lead recovery, production coordination, scheduling, customer communication, and the operational fabric that lets roofing companies actually grow.
This isn't generic VA work. As a Roofing Virtual Assistant (RVA), you provide specialized operational management of client\-side roofing workflows, owning defined scopes that ladder into client revenue outcomes. You bring roofing fluency and operational discipline; RoofAssist matches you to engagements where your scope is defined, your deliverables are clear, and your execution is the product.
The function changes by client. The standard doesn't.
Scope of Services
* CRM \& Pipeline Execution: data accuracy, job\-stage management, pipeline progression in JobNimbus, AccuLynx, ServiceTitan
* Lead Follow\-Up \& Recovery: structured outreach, consistent response times, follow\-up discipline that protects revenue
* Scheduling \& Coordination: inspections, crew assignments, appointments, calendar management across multiple teams
* Customer Communication: status updates, job progress notifications, homeowner outreach
* Production Coordination: materials ordering, permit tracking, inspection scheduling, job\-stage progression
* Administrative Execution: documentation, invoicing support, file management, data entry, reporting
* Insurance \& AR Coordination: claim documentation, supplement status tracking, working\-level Xactimate and EagleView fluency, collections and lien tracking
Note: deep supplement strategy, complex collections, and full insurance program ownership fall under RA Specialist scope, not core RVA scope.
Tools You'll Work In
* CRM \& Operations: JobNimbus · AccuLynx · ServiceTitan · Roofr · Jobber · Leap · JobProgress
* Estimating \& Measurement: Xactimate · EagleView · CompanyCam · Hover
* Communication: Google Workspace · Microsoft 365 · Slack · Zoom · RingCentral · OpenPhone
* Equipment Requirements (contractor\-provided): Windows or Mac (2\.0 GHz dual\-core, 8 GB RAM min) · HD webcam (720p\+) · USB or Bluetooth headset · 25 Mbps internet minimum · dedicated quiet workspace · dual monitors strongly preferred
Engagement Standards
* US\-Based AND US\-Executed: No work routed outside the US. No time\-zone arbitrage.
* Bilingual Excellence: English required. Spanish a strong asset. Communication is a core deliverable, not a soft skill.
* Standards Over Improvisation: Defined processes, expected outputs, measurable standards.
* Real Advancement: Rate and scope grow with demonstrated results, not tenure. Six\-month engagement reviews.
* Ownership Over Output: Execution quality, not activity volume. You own your scope and report what's working.
Required Qualifications
* 3\+ years minimum of direct roofing industry experience (5–7\+ years strongly preferred). Backgrounds with roofing suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, or roofing software firms qualify.
* US\-based residency (excluding WA, OR, CA, NY, NJ, PA) and 1099 work authorization
* Strong written and verbal English; customer\-facing communication is a core deliverable
* Working CRM proficiency in at least one major roofing CRM (JobNimbus, AccuLynx, ServiceTitan, or equivalent)
* Reliable remote work setup meeting the equipment requirements above
* Process discipline: consistent execution against defined workflows, proactive communication, no supervision needed
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual English/Spanish (fluent professional Spanish unlocks bilingual engagements)
* Multi\-platform CRM fluency (two or more roofing CRMs)
* Insurance and supplement exposure (Xactimate, EagleView, claim documentation)
* Production coordination experience (materials, permitting, subcontractor scheduling)
* AR and collections experience
* Storm\-season operational tempo (proven execution during high\-volume periods)
