As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a key role in providing essential support to our team and the people we serve. You will handle a variety of administrative responsibilities, including communication management, data entry, billing assistance, and documentation tracking.

Salary Range: $ 35,360 \- $41,000

Hours: M\-F 8:00 am\-4:30 pm

Location: New Lenox/Joliet, IL

REPORTS TO: Administrative Assistant

NETWORK OR DEPARTMENT: Network 6

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and relay detailed messages accurately
  • Commanding data tracking and electronic records
  • Maintaining the appearance of the office area
  • Presenting outliers and trends from data to the Director
  • Assisting with employee payroll
  • Organizing and filing confidential documentation
  • Assisting with miscellaneous office projects
  • Assist with billing for CDS program
  • SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities
  • A dependable professional with a positive attitude
  • The ability to manage several simultaneous tasks and responsibilities
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to waist without assistance
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (sitting or standing)
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers for computer and phone use
  • Physical tasks may include driving, reaching, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
  • Excel Proficiency preferred
  • Experience in an office setting
  • Motivation to reach deadlines and go the extra mile
  • Must possess a valid driver's licenses and able to travel between locations as needed
