Job Description

True Real Estate is hiring a Remote Part\-Time Bookkeeper to support the daily financial recordkeeping needs. This position is for someone who knows how to keep books accurate, current, and organized in a business with steady transaction flow, vendor activity, and property\-related operations.

This is not a basic clerical role. The person in this position will help keep the company’s financial records up to date across core business activity, including invoice entry, payment tracking, reconciliations, transaction review, record organization, and QuickBooks maintenance. The role supports a company that works with buyers, sellers, investment clients, and property management operations, so accuracy, consistency, and good record discipline matter every day.

We are looking for someone who has already done hands\-on bookkeeping for a company and does not need basic training in bookkeeping flow. This role is a strong fit for a bookkeeper who has worked in real estate, property management, construction, home services, or another business with ongoing invoices, vendor payments, deposits, and account reconciliation work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
  • Record bills, vendor payments, deposits, reimbursements, and other daily transactions
  • Track invoice status, due dates, payment timing, and supporting backup
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and internal accounting records
  • Maintain organized files for invoices, receipts, statements, payment confirmations, and other bookkeeping support
  • Help keep accounts payable and accounts receivable records current and easy to review
  • Assist with transaction matching, account cleanup, and historical correction work when needed
  • Flag missing documents, unusual charges, duplicate entries, and posting errors for review
  • Support month\-end bookkeeping close and reporting preparation
  • Keep financial records organized across company activity, including business expenses, operating transactions, and property\-related records
  • Required Experience

  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong recent QuickBooks experience
  • Experience with invoice entry, payment tracking, reconciliations, and account maintenance
  • Strong accuracy, follow\-through, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote role
  • Preferred Experience

  • Experience handling higher transaction volume and multiple accounts
  • English communication skills
  • Pay: $28\.13 \- $35\.26 per hour
