About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail\-oriented Personal Assistant to support a startup founder who is also a VP at a health tech company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and is comfortable balancing both professional and personal responsibilities.
This position will support day\-to\-day operations for a growing startup, assist with personal tasks, and help coordinate care and logistics for her older parents, for whom she is the primary caregiver.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage communications for a startup, including responding to customer inquiries and acting as a customer support representative
- Assist with scheduling, inbox management, and general administrative tasks
- Coordinate appointments, logistics, and support for caregiving responsibilities for older parents
- Handle personal errands and occasional local tasks (mileage reimbursed)
- Jump in as needed to support evolving priorities across work and personal life
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially on the phone
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with frequent context switching and shifting priorities
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take initiative
- Dependable and responsive with excellent follow\-through
- High level of trustworthiness, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive personal and business information
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Hours: \~5 hours per week (up to 30 hours per month)
- Pay: $15/hour
- Location: Primarily remote, with occasional local errands (mileage reimbursed)
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
