The Senior Admissions Analyst within the Admissions Office reports directly to the Director of Admissions Communications. This role is primarily responsible for leading admissions search analytics and reporting that inform enrollment and communication strategies, coordinating search vendor partnerships, developing dashboards and reports that track recruitment effectiveness across the enrollment funnel, and generating data\-driven insights that guide admissions and enrollment decision\-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and data visualization skills, experience working with data reporting or business intelligence tools, and skill translating complex datasets into clear insights for a range of stakeholders. To be successful in this position, the individual must excel at collaborating across teams, synthesizing and communicating analytical findings, maintaining strong attention to data integrity and accuracy, and supporting strategic and operational enrollment initiatives through data\-informed recommendations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Admissions Search Strategy \& Vendor Coordination

  • Lead planning and coordination of student search purchases with external vendors, including Encoura and College Board.
  • Evaluate search performance across the recruitment funnel and recommend adjustments aligned with enrollment priorities.
  • Collaborate with admissions leadership and vendor partners to refine targeting strategies and optimize inquiry and application generation.
  • Data Analytics, Reporting \& Visualization

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track recruitment performance across inquiry, application, admit, and enrollment stages.
  • Analyze enrollment and recruitment datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that inform strategic decision\-making.
  • Generate visual reports using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Technolutions Slate, ArcGIS, SAP, and Ellucian Informer.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear reports, summaries, and presentations for admissions and institutional leadership.
  • Communications Support \& Analytics

  • Partner with the Director of Admissions Communications to implement communications strategy, and support audience segmentation, campaign testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor and report on communications engagement using UTM parameters, email engagement metrics, and conversion data.
  • Recommend data\-informed improvements to messaging strategies and outreach effectiveness.
  • Strategic Collaboration \& Enrollment Support

  • Serve as a data resource for Admissions and Enrollment leadership by providing analytical insights that support recruitment strategy and planning.
  • Contribute to cross\-functional discussions related to enrollment management and institutional strategy.
  • Provide recommendations that support data\-informed decision\-making across the enrollment lifecycle.
  • Operational Support

  • Collaborate with the Director of Admissions Operations to maintain data integrity and ensure accurate reporting within admissions systems.
  • Support communications budget tracking and inventory coordination in partnership with the Director of Admissions Communications and the Executive Assistant to the Vice President.
  • Perform additional responsibilities related to admissions analytics, reporting, or operational support as assigned by the supervisor or designee.

  • Proficiency interpreting complex datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable insights for varied audiences.
  • Skill designing data visualizations and analytical dashboards using business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Technolutions Slate, ArcGIS, SAP, and Ellucian Informer.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management and recruitment systems, particularly Technolutions Slate, and their application in enrollment analytics and reporting.
  • Analytical and problem\-solving skills when evaluating recruitment funnel performance, identifying trends, and recognizing patterns in institutional data.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of data accuracy, documentation, and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications analytics, including interpretation of engagement metrics, conversion data, and UTM parameters.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills when conveying complex analytical concepts in clear, accessible language for non\-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills that support effective management of multiple projects, deadlines, and analytical workflows.
  • Collaborative skills that support productive partnerships with colleagues, leadership, and external partners in strategic and operational contexts.

  • REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information science, social science, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional experience working with data analytics, reporting, database management, or institutional data analysis.
  • Experience interpreting complex datasets and presenting analytical insights to varied audiences in a professional setting.
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in data analytics, information science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in higher education settings.
  • Experience supporting enrollment management, admissions recruitment strategy, marketing analytics, or institutional reporting.
  • Drivers license and interest in or experience supporting recruitment activities on behalf of the College.
  • Preferred Tech: Technolutions Slate, Ellucian systems (including Colleague or Informer), Tableau, ArcGIS, SAP, customer relationship management and business intelligence platforms.
  • WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Schedule: 37\.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday

  • Travel: Occasional travel for attendance at local, regional, or national professional meetings or conferences, with potential participation in recruitment\-related travel.

  • PAY RATE

  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Starting at $70,000 per year, with consideration for experience

  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse to conduct data analysis, reporting, and communication

  • Occasional lifting or moving of light materials or equipment up to 10 pounds
  • Travel to off\-site professional events or meetings as needed for the role
