About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and results\-driven Google Ads Media Buyer to lead the planning, execution, and scaling of paid search and performance advertising across the full Google Ads ecosystem, including Microsoft Advertising. You will own account performance, budget management, optimization, and client reporting while training and delegating to virtual assistants. Proficiency in programmatic advertising, paid social ad experience, and creative optimization is a strong plus. This full\-time, fully remote role requires deep platform expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Google Ads strategy across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, and Demand Gen campaigns, driving scalable growth for consumer brands.
  • Plan and manage Microsoft Advertising campaigns across Search, Shopping, and the Audience Network, including UET tag implementation, LinkedIn Profile Targeting, and Microsoft Merchant Center feed management.
  • Execute and optimize full\-funnel campaign structures, including keyword strategy, bidding, audience layering, negative keyword management, and ad copy testing.
  • Manage Google Merchant Center feeds, including feed optimization, product segmentation, and troubleshooting for Shopping and PMax campaigns.
  • Implement and troubleshoot conversion tracking solutions via Google Tag Manager, including GA4 event setup, enhanced conversions, and server\-side tagging to ensure accurate measurement across client websites.
  • Act as the strategic lead for assigned client accounts, ensuring all advertising efforts are aligned with business objectives and growth goals.
  • Partner with the creative team to test ad concepts and iterate on assets across YouTube and Display formats, applying a rigorous testing methodology to improve performance.
  • Support advertising audits and contribute to paid media proposals for prospective clients, providing strategic recommendations based on account structure, performance data, and opportunity analysis.
  • Oversee and manage virtual assistants, including development of SOPs, training, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Conduct bi\-weekly client reporting calls and maintain regular communication to provide updates on KPIs, campaign performance, and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Google Ads strategies align with broader marketing initiatives, including paid social, email, and marketplace efforts.
  • Explore and manage programmatic advertising opportunities (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar DSPs) to extend reach beyond Google\-owned inventory. Preferred but not required.
  • Manage paid social campaigns across Meta and/or TikTok as a secondary channel to support integrated cross\-channel strategies. A strong bonus.
  • Continuously analyze campaign performance data to surface insights and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Primary Qualifications

  • 5\+ years of hands\-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, and Demand Gen.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) campaigns across Search and Shopping, including audience targeting, UET tag setup, and LinkedIn Profile Targeting.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads strategy, including smart bidding, manual bidding, audience segmentation, remarketing lists for search ads (RLSA), customer match, and real\-time budget pacing to maximize ROAS and CPA.
  • Strong command of Google Merchant Center, including product feed structure, feed rules, supplemental feeds, and product disapproval resolution.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics (GA4\) and Google Tag Manager, with hands\-on experience configuring conversion tracking, custom events, enhanced conversions, and attribution models.
  • Hands\-on experience with Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), including building multi\-source dashboards that connect Google Ads, GA4, and third\-party data for client reporting.
  • Experience scaling Google Ads campaigns for consumer product brands on Amazon and/or other third\-party marketplaces is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar DSPs) is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns across Meta Ads and/or TikTok Ads is a bonus and valued for cross\-channel strategy work.
  • Understanding of email and first\-party data integrations to strengthen audience targeting and measurement across channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in client\-facing roles.
  • Highly organized and self\-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fully remote environment.
  • Agency experience preferred.
