Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a diverse portfolio of legal cases across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law \& regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law. Your proactive approach will ensure efficient case progression through comprehensive legal research, document review, and case management. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development across various practice areas
- Manage legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing exhibits, evidence, and relevant documentation for litigation or transactional matters
- Interview clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders to gather pertinent information for case assessments
- Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and maintaining detailed logs of activities
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, transcribing recordings, and managing phone communications with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to landlord\-tenant issues, tribal regulations, patent filings, or securities transactions when applicable
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency in the law office
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in legal research and case management across multiple practice areas
- Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law \& regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, or personal injury law is highly desirable
- Proficiency in legal administrative software including iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PCLaw and document management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence
- Experience conducting interviews and gathering relevant information efficiently
- Knowledge of project management principles within a legal setting is a plus
- Demonstrated clerical experience including filing, data entry, proofreading and transcription tasks
