Job Title: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. / Psy.D.) \- Hybrid Position
Location: Fairfax City, VA 22030
Job Type: Full\-time (W\-2 Employee)
Are you a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Virginia seeking a collaborative group practice without the isolation or administrative burdens of solo private practice? We offer a W\-2 position with Health Insurance (practice pays 50% monthly premium), full administrative, insurance, and billing support, and the flexibility to build a caseload that fits your clinical interests. Our group practice handles the business side so you can focus entirely on high\-quality patient care.
As an insurance\-based practice, we provide clinicians with a steady stream of referrals while increasing access to care and supporting a diverse caseload. As an established group practice in the Fairfax area, we have secured the highest insurance reimbursement rates available in the region.
About Us
Virginia Therapy \& Wellness is a group of highly skilled clinicians dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care. Our team draws from a range of therapeutic approaches—including both structured, evidence\-informed treatments and insight\-oriented, relational modalities—to support clients across a broad spectrum of emotional, relational, and life challenges.
Our providers come from diverse training backgrounds, allowing us to offer multidisciplinary perspectives. We prioritize a collaborative, inclusive environment where clinicians are supported and clients receive personalized, high\-quality care.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and collegial Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to join our growing group practice. This full\-time position requires a minimum of 15 clients per week and is ideal for psychologists at various stages of their careers who value autonomy, collaboration, and the ability to focus on clinical work while supported by a strong administrative infrastructure.
Why Join Us? (Benefits \& Compensation)
We are dedicated to your professional growth and well\-being, offering a supportive environment that values your doctoral expertise:
* Compensation \& Estimated Earnings: Competitive 60/40 fee split (clinician/practice), with clinicians earning 60% of collected revenue. Because we maintain strong insurance contracts, we offer consistent and above\-average earnings. Estimated annual earnings range from $90,000 (at the minimum requirement of 15 clients/week) up to $180,000\+ (at 30 clients/week, plus additional supervision stipends).
* W\-2 Status: Tax stability as an employee (not a 1099 contractor).

* 401(k) Retirement Plan: Includes a 2% employer match.
* Flexible Scheduling: You have complete control over your schedule and calendar.

* Full Admin Support \& Credentialing: We handle all marketing, intake coordination, billing/insurance support, and insurance paneling on your behalf, so you can focus exclusively on clinical work.
* Supervision Opportunities: We offer optional opportunities to supervise postdoctoral and master’s\-level clinicians, creating an additional income stream (an average of $800/month) for interested providers.
* Steady Caseload: As an insurance\-based practice with strong referral pipelines, we support clinicians in building and maintaining a consistent caseload.
* CEU Stipend: $250 annual stipend for continuing education and professional development.
* Peer Support: Monthly collaborative case consultations and didactics provided at no cost.
