Job Summary
Join our trauma\-focused, mental health therapy group practice as an Admin/Bookkeeper/Biller where your expertise is requested to keep our administrative and financial operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will manage a variety of bookkeeping, insurance billing and administrative tasks to support our clinicians. An enthusiastic approach and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial record keeping, successful billing and seamless office operations is preferred to contribute to a positive and supportive environment dedicated to helping our clients heal deeply from various traumas. Experience with insurance credentialing and billing is absolutely necessary.
Duties
- Manage payroll and business expenses using advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
- Handle billing processes for therapy sessions, including credentialing and insurance claims submission/follow\-up
- Maintain precise records of payroll processing, tax filings and governmental reporting requirements
- Follow group policies related to patient records
- Special projects as needed
- Role can grow as the practice does
- Must have expertise interfacing with CAQH/insurance companies realted to credientaling, billing and other needed tasks
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero or similar platforms
- Expertise in bookkeeping tasks such as account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
