About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, proactive Executive Assistant to support a busy prosthodontist and entrepreneur managing a growing dental practice and a short\-term rental portfolio in Austin. This is a high\-trust, high\-impact role where no two days look the same. You'll work directly with the owner to keep operations running smoothly, projects moving forward, and priorities in order.
The role starts in\-person in Austin and transitions to a flexible arrangement as trust is established.
What You'll Do
- Manage day\-to\-day calendar, scheduling, and communications on behalf of the owner.
- Oversee STR property operations, coordinating with cleaners, maintenance vendors, and guests as needed.
- Track and manage renovation, construction, and improvement projects across properties.
- Organize and follow up on vendor relationships, contractor bids, and timelines.
- Research and execute on special projects across both the dental and real estate sides of the business.
- Anticipate needs, flag issues early, and take ownership of tasks through completion.
- The owner's time, focus, and energy are protected and maximized.
- Rentals and office environments run smoothly with minimal input required.
- Travel, calendars, inboxes, and operations remain proactive \- not reactive.
- The EA becomes a trusted partner, operating with full ownership and judgment.
- Extreme attention to detail is non\-negotiable.
- Experience with property management, construction coordination, interior design, or real estate a strong plus.
- Extremely organized, reliable, and solution\-oriented.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- Self\-starter who thrives with autonomy and can manage up effectively.
- Discretion and professionalism in all situations.
- Austin\-based and available to work in\-person initially.
- Proactive, high\-ownership mindset \- brings solutions, not problems.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to respond and act outside traditional hours when reasonable.
- $70,000–$95,000 annually, based on experience.
