- Support talent acquisition efforts by assisting with HR sourcing, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) management such as iCIMS or Workday, and coordinating interviews to identify top candidates.
- Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration into the company culture.
- Assist with employee evaluation processes, performance management programs, and training \& development initiatives to promote continuous growth.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and records using HRIS platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro; ensure data collection is thorough and up\-to\-date.
- Support benefits administration activities including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits.
- Aid in compliance efforts such as FMLA administration, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and contracts management.
- Contribute to employee relations by helping resolve conflicts through effective communication and conflict management strategies.
- Assist with project management tasks related to organizational design, change management initiatives, succession planning, and workforce management projects.
- Extensive knowledge of human capital management principles and employment \& labor law compliance.
- Strong understanding of HR sourcing tools like ATS systems (e.g., Taleo, Paylocity), HRIS platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft, Ceridian), and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
- Proven experience in recruiting, interviewing techniques, onboarding procedures, and employee evaluation methods.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management skills; adept at strategic planning and organization design.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction across all levels of the organization; capable of handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Familiarity with benefits administration including health plans, workers' compensation claims, and leave policies such as FMLA.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations; experience with data collection tools like Salesforce or Workday is advantageous.
- Administrative experience in HR functions such as data entry, contract management, social media management for employer branding initiatives, and document processing.
