Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Assistant to support our office. This role involves managing administrative tasks, clerical functions for Medicaid and waiver program services, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth office operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. The ideal candidate will be proactive and capable of handling multiple responsibilities along with knowledge of Medicaid and waiver programs.
Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems for client records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program requirements
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office, CareTime, Therap, WaMs, and Virginia Medicaid for processing client information and services
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and program activities
- Provide general office support, including answering phones, emails, filing, proofreading documents, maintaining office cleanliness and monitor office supplies
- Assist with client intake and enrollment
- Verify Medicaid eligibility and assist with documentation processing
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly with strong proofreading skills
- Personal assistant or office support experience that includes calendar management is beneficial
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers
- Medicaid Waiver: 2 years (Required)
Pay: $19\.00 per hour
