Lighting Gallery is a high\-end lighting showroom based in Huntington, NY, specializing in designer lighting for residential and commercial projects.

We are seeking a reliable, detail\-oriented Part\-Time Administrative Assistant to support our management team with daily operations across both our showroom and online business.

This is an in\-person position and a hands\-on role ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with systems, and supporting a team in a fast\-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage online orders (Shopify)
  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Assist with inventory counting and stock organization
  • Answer customer service calls and assist with inquiries
  • Support the sales and management team with administrative tasks
  • Help maintain organization across orders, paperwork, and systems
  • Schedule

  • Tuesday – Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Occasional weekends as needed
  • * We maintain a consistent weekly schedule, but understand that life happens — we’re a small, family\-oriented business and can offer flexibility when needed, provided responsibilities are handled and communication is clear

    Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and web\-based systems
  • Clear and professional communication skills (phone \& email)
  • Ability to multitask and follow through independently
  • Retail, admin, or e\-commerce experience is a plus (not required)
