Marriage Center in Chesapeake, VA (Greenbrier) is a Christian, small group counseling center seeking an administrative team member in a part\-time receptionist/administrative assistant role. The position requires a commitment of 5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Basic Qualifications
* Education:
- High School Diploma
- Background in Business Administration, Health Administration, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred.
- Experience in scheduling, patient intake, and record\-keeping.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with scheduling software and patient management systems.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with clients and staff.
- Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service.
- Skill in handling sensitive situations and maintaining confidentiality.

- Entering new patient information and demographics in practice management software
- Conducting/verifying insurance benefits eligibility
- Supporting licensed clinical mental health professionals
- Scanning, copying, printing, and filing documents
- Preparing new client charts/records for appointments
- Verifying client forms completion
- Monitoring supplies
