Job Summary
- Seeking a high\-energy, organized multitasker to support a young, busy family running a small, fast\-paced farm. This hybrid role requires managing daily building and orchard logistics and supporting multiple, diverse projects. A family assistant on a working farm acts as a right\-hand partner, bridging the gap between home and farm operations. They need to be comfortable with both office work (scheduling, emails) and hands\-on, often physical, tasks.
- Manage calendars.
- Handle comprehensive office management tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records
- Backing up the Owner with details of on going projects as well as proposed projects.
- Utilize Office productivity tools like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace to prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations
- Experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and basic computer literacy skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced
- Comfort working outdoors, around animals.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with or interest in small\-scale farming/homesteading.
